In this video you will see the difference in my marketing plan vs most Agent's marketing plans. You see, most Agents simply rely on the MLS' syndication program to do all the work. They post a home on the MLS syndication program and pray that it syndicates properly. I like to call this "The Post and Pray Method". Unfortunately, this does not always work. The top three websites that most buyers use today to search for a home reward their preferred/premiere agents to actually go the extra mile. In the video you'll see how I take advantage of that feature.
I will show you in the video how I go into Zillow, Trulia and Realtordotcom to maximize exposure, ensure that my listings show up first, that they look good, and that all information syndicated accurately (you'll be surprised how often they don't!) MLS syndication mistakes can happen, and could cost you thousands of dollars if the perfect buyer decides to overlook your home because of inaccurate information.
These third party sites pull information from a number of sources (i.e. TAX, MLS, TAD, and from any old information out there from when your home may have been for sale in the past). Bottom line, I always make sure that my listings are showing up accurate on these third party sites.
